摘要

To guarantee smooth motion of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools, so as to decrease impact and vibration in CNC machining, a dynamics model for CNC machine tools was studied. Then, the cause of impact and vibration were analyzed theoretically. An Acceleration & Deceleration (Acc/Dec) approach based on continuous jerk was developed, and the expressions of various motion profile segments were deduced. Furthermore, this approach was simplified rationally to meet the real-time needs of CNC system. Finally, the S-shape Acc/Dec approach and the developed approach were compared in the CNC experimental machine. Results revealed that the developed approach could achieve more smooth and flexible motion profile, but need more run time.
