摘要

In the view of ship lightweight, a new T joint consisting of composite sandwich plates, reinforced cores and adhesive was proposed, to solve the connection problem between bulkheads and decks of composite lightweight superstructure for ships. Based on the design principles and mechanical properties of composite structures, the tension and compression tests were investigated. And the ultimate bearing capacity and damage modes under different load conditions were examined, which proved that the compression strength is better than tension strength;especially the adhesive resin between the face plate and the web plate is weak spot. Based on the experimental results, a numerical method was verified and three characteristic paths were set;their stress and displacement were calculated by the numerical method. Then, the change rules among geometric parameters, tension strength and weight were summarized. Finally, the preferred range of angle at adhesive bond area is between 45°and 60°, which supports the optimization design and practical application of ship lightweight adhesive bonded joints.
