摘要

The vehicle accumulation-release mode under the signal control was differentiated through analysis of the start-wave and stop-wave of the vehicle behind the stop line, concluding that the absolutely one-stop queue condition does not exist under steady input. The trajectories of vehicles driving in steady mode were classified and their travel times were investigated respectively. The case calculation showed that the road travel time(or road resistance) is not simply an increasing function of the traffic flow, it is also affected by the signal control. Even if the traffic flow is low, the travel time of the vehicle may be more than that at high flow rate.
