A new species, Mescirtes kojimai, is described from Vietnam. A replacement name, Mescirtes wasungenensis Klausnitzer, is given for Mescirtes herthae (Klausnitzer, 2009) (not Klausnitzer, 2005). A species list of the genus with their associated ZooBank LSIDs is given.
