Al(2)O(3) composite agent effects on phase transformation of nanometer TiO(2) powder

Nano-composite TiO(2) was synthesized via a liquid co-precipitation method using Al(2)O(3) as heterogeneous composite agent. The products were characterized by differential scanning calorimetric analysis (DSC), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), respectively. Effect of Al(2)O(3) on phase transformation of TiO(2) and the structure of composite were discussed.
