Based on exploring the students' awareness of information technology, learning theories and computational thinking, this paper aims at emphasizing the significance of learning computer programming. Further, it introduces the advantages and superiority of the modular programming and summarizes the status quo of modular programming application and development trend at home and abroad. By overviewing the advantages of tablet natural interaction and physical interaction, this thesis also asserts that as a kind of feasible pattern, modular programming under the tablet environment has been developed on the basis of tablet computing, hence offering tablet environment programming to students, which is definitely of great importance and value for the promotion of students' computing thinking and enhancing the ability of programming calculation of beginners.
