摘要
Red-emitting AgEuM2O8 (M = W6+ or Mo6+) phosphor coatings were obtained by electrostatic spray deposition on silica glass. The as-deposited films were annealed at 750-850 degrees C for 4 h. The X-ray diffraction patterns revealed that the coatings were single-phased and that the doped-Eu ion only had little influence on the host structure. From PL measurements, the main emission peak of Eu3+ was determined to be the D-5(0) -> F-7(2) transition at 615 nm, while the AgEuMo2O8 exhibited a stronger red emission at 615 nm than AgEuW2O8.
