A note on the inclusion sets for singular values

In this paper, for a given matrix A = (a(ij)) is an element of C-nxn,C- in terms of r(i) and c(i), where r(i) = Sigma(n)(j=1,j not equal i) vertical bar a(ij)vertical bar, c(i) = Sigma(n)(j=1,j not equal i) vertical bar a(ij)vertical bar, some new inclusion sets for singular values of a matrix are established. It is proved that the new inclusion sets are tighter than the Ger. sgorin-type sets [1] and the Brauer-type sets [2]. A numerical experiment show the e ffi ciency of our new results.
