Summary
In order to discover the characters of water environment in mining subsidence corresponding to different evolution phase, four representational mining subsidence ponds in Huainan mine area were surveyed. Based on analyzing-the physical-chemical properties of water, distribution of aquatic vascular plant in water and phytoplankton community in water, Diatom index, Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Chlorophyll-a content were calculated and applied to show the pollution and eutrophication level in water. The results show that from the initial stage to metaphase of mining subsidence the pollution and eutrophication level in water rises and after mine closure the pollution and nutrition level in water declines. Furthermore, this level is stabilized gradually.
