Based on interpolating polynomial over finite field Fp, the distributed verifiable random number is introduced. With distributed verifiable random number and hash chain, an improved micropayment scheme is proposed, which not only overcomes the flaws of previous schemes, resists collusion fraud and individual fraud, but also is fair, efficient, and verifiable.
