摘要

According to the guideline VDI 3957 part 13 an air quality mapping was carried out for the urban area of Dresden. Former investigations demonstrated the effects of acidifying air pollution resulting in a decline of epiphytic lichen flora with Lecanora conizaeoides as the remaining species. Although the current air quality mapping provides a still critical level of air pollution for Dresden, the decrease of SO(2) concentrations increased the diversity from three to 34 species. Furthermore, species composition changed from acidophytic to more nitrophytic species, indicating the influence of eutrophication caused by high traffic flow.
