Application of data mining technology in university information management

The impact of university management on the quality of higher education already becomes a difficult problem that cannot be ignored. And it has always been the research hotspot of related research institutions at home and abroad about how to improve the information management level of colleges and universities. Based on this, in this paper, the application of data mining technology in university information management was deeply researched. First of all, the relevant theoretical basis was briefly introduced, which included the definition, research contents, essence and function of data mining. And then, based on it, the function and development mode of data mining university information management system were designed. The results showed that in the management of the information in colleges and universities, the information management level of colleges and universities could be effectively improve by citing data mining techniques, which provided an effective management mean for university administrators.
