摘要

ZnO nanorods were synthesized by a modified polyol process using inorganic reagents as the precursors. The synthesis process without delicate equipments was a convenient, environment friendly, inexpensive and efficient method for ZnO nanomaterial. The material structures and crystallite microstructures of the product obtained were analyzed by XRID, Raman spectra, SEM and TEM. Conductance responses of the ZnO nanorods thick film were measured by means of exposing the film to reducing gases like CH4, LPG C4H10, H-2 and C2H5OH. The results indicate that the ZnO obtained showed nice responses and selectivity to ethanol gas. Furthermore, the sensor exhibited a fast response and a good recovery. Successive on and off responses could be repeated without observing major changes in the response signal.
