About usefulness of neural networks in electrical engineering problems

Paper gives general overview of the opportunities and advantages of neural networks treated as a tool for electrical system modeling. Problems of applications of neural networks in control of electrical systems as well as forecasting are considered and discussed. General description of the neural elements and structure of whole network is presented for MLP, RBF and linear networks. Methods used for network learning are described and some learning difficulties are explained. ( About usefulness of neural networks in electrical engineering problems)
