Let lambda > 0, Z(p,q) denote R-2 endowed with the norm vertical bar x vertical bar(p,q) = (parallel to x parallel to(2)(p) + lambda parallel to x parallel to(2)(q))(1/2). Recently, von Neumann-Jordan constant C-NJ(Z(p,q)) have been investigated under the two cases of a space 2 <= p <= q <= infinity and 1 <= p <= q <= 2. For the case of 1 <= p < 2 < q <= infinity, we only have shown an inequality on the constant. In this note, the exact value of the Jordan-von Neumann constant about this case is investigated.
