The structural difference between floating shock platform and real ship makes the platform difficult to achieve the same shock environment as on the ship. In order to make the impact ability of devices on the floating shock platform at different working conditions to be able to reflect the impact resistance of equipments on the ship at different positions and with different water displacement, the vertical filtering effect of four ships with different water displacement subjected to underwater explosion shock wave was studied. Then, the discriminant analysis on shock spectral parameters at connection place of the platform and devices as well as the inside and outside bottom of the ship was carried out by using the Fisher method. The rationality of the method was validated. The results show that the filtering effect is more obvious for the larger displacement hull. The shock environment on deck 1 with no superstructure is more serious than on deck 2 and deck 3. The discrimination method of multivariate statistical analysis can establish a correspondence for shock environment assessment of equipments between real ship and floating shock platform. The result has a certain guiding significance for the assessment of ship equipments in engineering applications.
