An approach of component recommendation based on association mining

Retrieving components quickly from component library plays an important role-in component-based software development. In,order to support retrieving components, this paper represents an approach of component recommendation using multilevel association rules. Referred to association mining theory in data mining field, the paper represents a component recommendation model with user's feedback and the association mining-based self-adaptive learning algorithm. Thus, associations among components are found, and then relevant components are recommended to users when users browse or download a component. In this context, users can get more needed components through one retrieving action.
