摘要
The traditional folk houses is the crystallization of people's wisdom which fully reflect the local natural environment, economic level and living habit.Today the urban ecological problem is becoming more and more serious.Many ecological design strategies of the traditional folk houses are greatly worth to be researched for modern community development.This paper firstly summarizes the ecological strategy of traditional folk houses of Lingnan.Then discusses how to apply these ecological strategy in modem community planning and design in four aspects of space layout, ventilation and lighting, sun shading and heat prevention, garden and greening by the case of Julong commercial and residential district in Zhongshan.Finally gives some advices for the application of traditional ecological technology in modern community development.
