摘要

Using the theoretical analysis method, a portable half-wavelength ultrasound vibration system has been demonstrated and evaluated in this paper. It takes some advantages in terms of smaller size, lower weight(0.235 Kg), lower moment of inertia and replaceable tools in comparison with a traditional one. It is well suitable to drill micro-holes(Ø &le 1 mm) using the ultrasound rotating technique. And subsequently the performances of the vibration system developed have been analyzed by means of the admittance circle approach. Experiments carried out to evaluate the performances have shown the effectiveness of the vibration system.
