Minimal sets in compact connected subspaces

Let X be a topological space, f : X -> x be a continuous map, and Y be a compact, connected and closed subset of X. In this paper we show that, if the boundary partial derivative(X)Y contains exactly one point v and f (v) is an element of Y, then Y contains a minimal set of f.
