In the title compound, C17H17ClN2O4 center dot CH4O, the dihedral angle between the benzene ring planes is 5.29 (6)degrees. Intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a chain along the a axis.
