AN EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS OF 1-((1-(4-SUBSTITUTED BENZYL)-1H-1,2,3-TRIAZOL-4-YL) METHYL)-4-HALO-1H-PYRROLO[2,3-b]PYRIDINE

Some substituted 1H-pyrrolo [2,3-b] pyridine derivatives have been synthesized from 4-halo-1-(prop-2-ynyl)-1H-pyrrolo [2,3-b]pyridine and 1-(azidomethyl)-4-halobenzene. Structures of the newly synthesized compounds have been established on the basis of their H-1-NMR C-13-NMR and Mass spectroscopic data.
