摘要

A turbo-cool turbocharging system is developed for CA6DL2 diesel engine. Air turbocharger design and a prototype manufacturing are made based on the specified parameters. Experiments of air turbocharger and turbocharging system were also carried out. Maximum efficiency of the designed air turbine reaches 77.4. Experimental results show that air temperature is reduced with increasing rotational speed of air turbine and intercooler outlet temperature. Matching of engine model and turbo-cool turbocharging system was made, and engine characteristic at full-load condition was calculated. Simulation results show that turbo-cool can reduce charge air temperature and NOx emission effectively under the condition of the same intake air flow.
