摘要

Queuing analysis based on measuring or estimating Markov models for traffic flow and wireless channel is one of critical technologies for QoS(quality of service) analysis in wireless networks. However, the complexity of wireless channel models in modern wireless communication systems makes queuing analysis be of high computation complexity. In this paper, we analyze the burstiness character of wireless channel service process and its description, a dimension reduction and approximate modeling method for wireless channel based on equivalent burstiness is proposed. Numerical examples for adaptive modulation and coding wireless channel (AMC) are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed model.
