摘要

In the work the evaluation of the usability of commercial agents (stearic acid, silicone preparation and bituminous preparation) for hydrophobization of limestone flours was made. The hydrophobicity of modified materials was determined and it was stated that all of the used admixtures change the properties of the limestone powder surface causing the water-repellent behavior. However, not only the type of agent but also the method and conditions of its application highly influence the hydrophobicity of treated flour.
