摘要
The broad availability and use of multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) in recent years has increased the radiation dose for patients. %26lt;br%26gt;Multiphase MDCT protocols are used in abdominal imaging for various indications. %26lt;br%26gt;Dose reduction though novel technologies, such as dual energy CT or adapted contrast injection protocols (split bolus etc.) for reduction of scans. %26lt;br%26gt;An optimized dose reduction can be achieved by using strict protocols which are adapted to the clinical situation of the patient.
