摘要

There are many systems in which replacement parts are available in different grades or brands. For example, automobile tires are not necessarily replaced with those of the same grade or brand as the previous set. In this paper, we set up this replacement problem by a Markov renewal process with termination, and apply it to a demand prediction model of replacement parts in a market. Input-output response tests are conducted to illustrate its performance and a typical example in the Japanese market is also shown.
