摘要

The allergist has a rightful place in medicine and public health due to the exponential increase of allergic diseases. The allergist is a physician (generalist or specialist) following specific training in allergy. The allergist manages all fields of allergic diseases (respiratory, skin, food, drug, venom). The organization of allergy in hospital varies greatly depending on the location in France. But, there is no university for allergy. Allergy in France is united. The French Federation of Allergology includes all structures of allergy: the French Society of Allergology, the Teachers College of Allergy, the union representing allergists, the company continuing medical education and the Association of Asthma & Allergy Patients. An annual meeting of allergists in April shows the unity and strength of the specialty. The current demographics reveal that 80 to 90 allergists should be trained annually, on the whole French territory from 2010 to 2020. Proposals emerge and should be discussed with the help of all.
