摘要
Complications of otitis media happen less often now than in the past. However, when they do occur their morbidity is high. We describe a patient who had history of bilateral chronic ear discharge for the last 20 years but did not seek for a proper treatment. He ends up with bilateral profound hearing loss. Despite advances in medical services, certain group of people still does not get early treatment for their diseases. This problem might be due to low awareness among the people towards ear diseases. Therefore, health promotion especially on ear diseases is still very much needed.
