摘要
At all construction projects in the city of Frankfurt am Main which belong to the Geotechnical Category GC 3 regarding to EC 7 and DIN 1054 the deformation of the subsoil was measured during and after the construction works.
As a result of the deconstruction of existing buildings the uplift of the subsoil was measured. It has to be determined that the settlement relevant soil layer, the tertiary Frankfurt Clay, relaxes time-delayed due to the unloading in the dimension of centimeters. The new acknowledgement of the deformation behaviour of the Frankfurt Clay due to unloading the subsoil is presented in detail by two typical projects for the development of the city.
