摘要

A three-dimensional mathematical model has been developed to predict collision and aggregation among inclusions in the slab continuous caster. Numerical results show that there are four interesting phenomena about inclusion distribution. In the upper recirculation zone, the inclusion distribution has 'annular' shape. In the lower recirculation, there is V distribution under nozzle, W distribution under the mold and lying '8' distribution at the exit. In comparison with casting speed, the inclusion removal rate is more sensitive to nozzle entry angle and nozzle immersion depth.
