The new (100 K) X-ray crystal structure of Yb[N(SiMe3)(2)](2)[Me2PCH2CH2PMe2] strengthens the original deductions, based on a 293 K data set, that the short Yb...C-gamma contact distance is best described as a Yb...Si beta C gamma agostic interaction rather than as a Yb...HC gamma, agostic interaction.
