摘要

In a conformal and inverse modulate intensity radiation planning (IMRT), mechanical collision is a key problem, which determines whether the therapy planning can be really executed or not. In this paper, an algorithm to detect the collistion has been worked out, which is based on the motion knowledge of rigid body. The content includes the basic principles of a rigid coordinate transformation and a way to solve the synchronous motion of rigid body by assuming a relation between a 'father' and a 'child' rigid body. The algorithm was realized in language C ++ and OPENGL. The method and the software were tested on a VARIAN 800CC system, and satisfied results were obtained.
