摘要
Based on the analysis of the characteristics, history and realistic condition of Chinese Construction Industry, this paper aims to study the effect of infrastructure innovation on the construction industry innovation in China. The research indicates that the infrastructure innovation has a supportive and impulse effect on the innovation of Chinese construction industry. This paper argues the necessity of innovation of both Chinese construction industry and infrastructure, and then examines the Granger causality between the growth rate from 1980 to 2003 of the labor productivity and government expenditure for science and research in the construction industry.
