Modification Research of Hyperbranched Polyimide

Hyperbranched polyimide(HBPI) has attracted much attention due to its unique structural characters, excellent physical and chemical properties as well as its widely applied values. And its modification research is the emphases and hotspot in this field. The modification research and recent development of HBPI are reviewed in this paper. Functional group modification, inorganic nano-hybrid modification, organic polymer compound modification, crosslinking modification and some other methods like introducing special structure groups, are emphatically introduced. Characterization and application of HBPI are also summarized.
