摘要

The reaction of 3-pyridyldiphenylphosphinite with AgBF4 in either a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio leads to the formation of two different coordination polymers. The molecular structures of these compounds were obtained by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystallization of 2 and 3 both occurs in the centrosymmetric space group P2(1)/c (No. 14). For 2, a = 25.450(5), b = 9.4517(18), c = 14.803(3) with beta = 96.573(7) and Z = 4. For 3, a = 9.8140(17), b = 22.615(4), c = 16.230(3) with beta = 106.503(6) and Z = 4. In the presence of trace amounts of water and O-2 a decomposition product (4) is isolated which contains the rare ligand diphenylphosphinous anhydride (Ph2POPPh2, POP) as well as diphenylphosphinic acid. Compound 4 crystallizes in the centrosymmetric space group P2(1)/n (No. 14) with a = 11.9982(4), b = 19.8878(6), c = 15.3845(5) with beta = 110.8630(10) and Z = 2. Details of the synthesis and the structural characterization of the title compounds are presented and discussed. %26lt;br%26gt;The ligand diphenyl-3-hydroxypyridylphosphinite has been reacted with AgBF4 in a 1:1 and 2:1 ratio resulting in two different coordination polymers. An interesting product of hydrolysis of the ligand has been isolated which features a short Ag center dot center dot center dot F interaction.
