摘要

A high gain soft-switching Boost-Forward converter is proposed in this paper. The voltage gain of the proposed converter is improved by introducing a coupled inductor. The rate of change of the turn-off voltage and the turn-off losses of the switches are greatly reduced by their parallel capacitors. Meanwhile, the switches can operat under zero-voltage turn-on condition by optimizing the dead time between their driving signals. The reverse-recovery problem of the diode is solved by the reasonable design of the leakage inductance. Furthermore, the efficiency of the converter can be improved further by choosing low-voltage rated switches because the voltage stresses of the switches are much lower than the output voltage. Additionally, the utilization rate of the coupled inductor is improved because the coupled inductor transfers energy in both switches'ON state and OFF state. Finally, a prototype is built and the experimental results verified the theoretical analysis.
