摘要

Sn-37%Pb droplets were prepared by self-developed Uniform Droplet Spray. The influences of vibration, electric field and concentration of oxygen on jet break-up behavior of Sn-37%Pb molten jet were studied. The results show that the configuration and uniformity of the particle are controlled by the application of sine wave disturbance in process of the jet breakup. The droplets are electrically charged to prevent droplets merging during flight because the leading droplets experience more drag force than the trailing ones. The concentration of oxygen could affect jet breakup by changing surface tension of molten metal jet and growing rate of surface oxidation layer.
