摘要
A new model to determine the acid-gas injection profile from the wellhead to TD was developed. Called GLEW-pro, the model was validated through applications in the Kharg Island and Alberta. In the Kharg Island, the model calculated the temperature profile along the well using an overall heat transfer coefficient of 1.91 W/sq m-K. Applications in Alberta were carried out by Anderson Exploration Ltd, Chevron Canada Ltd and PanCanadian Petroleum Ltd.
