摘要
Along with the rapid growth of Chinese economy, the need of pharmaceutical professionals increases rapidly. In 1998, a new major of pharmaceutical engineering was established in China, subsequently, Chinese University started the undergraduate courses in Pharmaceutical Engineering which includes Chemical Pharmacy, Microbial Pharmacy and Industry of Fine Chemical. There were 34 universities who have the major of pharmaceutical engineering and enrolled 1165 under graduate students in 1999. The number of universities and enrolled students were increased to 154 and 8216 respectively in 2006. This article selects some representative Chinese universities for discussion on course setting, operation aim, knowledge, ability, and graduates' occupation.
