摘要

In this paper, we use RBF neural network to separate electro-magnetic torque into synchronizing torque and damping torque. It solves the problem that the torque can hardly decompose in a large disturbance. And the effectiveness of this method is verified by analysis on SMIB. Then, it is used to analyze the parameters' effects upon the generator's damping torque. It is shown that the stator resistance will non-linearly worsen the system's damping. Besides, the influence of damping winding's reactance upon system damping is so small that it can be ignored and the contribution of its resistance is obvious while its relationship is nonlinear.
