摘要

To implement the postponement strategy and reduce production cost in Mass Customization (MC), a cost control model of process flow reorder with multiple product differentiation points was proposed. Its objective was to reduce the overall production cost of the postponement system with full considerations of investment cost, manufacturing cost, Work in Process (WIP) holding cost, buffer inventory holding cost and customer waiting cost. The implementation conditions of process flow reorder were analyzed. Effect of customer demand fluctuation, production lead time, and value-added operation on process flow reorder were considered. The optimization of distributed and centralized mass customization were realized.
