摘要

Monodisperse Zn7.23Cd2.77S10 nanoparticles with uniform shape and a narrow size distribution were synthesized by a room temperature reaction, followed by a 200 degrees C heat-treatment in an autoclave, using Na-oleate and oleic acid as surfactant and ligand, respectively. This method achieves a complete separation of the nucleation and growth. X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high-resolution TEM characterizations showed that the monodisperse nanoparticles had a polycrystalline hexagonal structure with a uniform crystallite size of 20 nm with spike-like morphology and a very rough surface. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra of Zn7.23Cd2.77S10 had blue-shifted with a peak at 485 nm.
