摘要

A disposable carboxylated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT-COOH) screen printed electrode (SPE) was developed for direct determination of doxorubicin (DOX) in whole blood to monitor drug levels. The single-use amperometric DOX sensor strip, incorporating a three-electrode configuration, was studied using cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry. The calibration graph was linear from 0.02 to 1.28 mu g/mL and the detection limit (S/N = 3) was 10 ng/mL. This method was applied to the determination of DOX in whole blood samples of rabbits and rats, and overall relative standard deviation (RSD) were below 15%. Results indicate that MWNT modified electrode sensor is feasible to analyze DOX in therapeutic drug monitoring of cancer patients.
