A novel dual-wideband dipole directional antenna with double reflecting floors is presented in this letter. By using a dipole with crooked arms and parasitic G-shaped branches, the antenna achieves two wide impedance bandwidths of 40.5% from 0.68 to 1.03 GHz and 50.6% from 1.67 to 2.8 GHz for VSWR <= 1.5, respectively. With the help of double reflecting floors, the reverse currents are reduced, and the radiation patterns in the upper band are improved. The proposed antenna has peak gains ranging from 6.7 to 7.5 dBi and from 6.6 to 10.1 dBi in the lower and upper bands, respectively, and shows good directionality. The antenna can be used in the wireless communication systems.
