A high strength and good ductility Mg-Y-NI-TI alloy with long period stacking ordered structure processed by hot rolling and aging treatment

摘要

The microstructure evolution of Mg96Y3Ni1 alloy with different Ti contents were investigated. Mg95.8Y3Ni1Ti0.2 alloy achieved finest grains, which was composed of alpha-Mg and long period stacking ordered phase. The ultimate tensile strength of Mg95.8Y3Ni1Ti0.2 alloy reached to 435 MPa with elongation of 21% after hot rolling and aging treatment.
