摘要

A NE213 proton recoil detector using the time-of-flight technique was used to measure neutron beam fluence energy distributions at the neutron time-of-flight facility of iThemba Labs. A comparison was performed between neutron beam fluence energy distributions calculated by the Monte Carlo code MCNPX and that measured for neutron beams of energies up to similar to 64 MeV for the calibration of detectors. The results obtained showed good agreement between the calculated and measured distributions.
