摘要

Recently, the contents sharing among mobile peer to peer (MP2P) networks have been emerged. Since the computation ability, bandwidth and storage capacity of mobile devices are limited, directly applying the existing P2P approaches to mobile ad hoc networks can cause poor performance. The hierarchical MP2P architectures based on super peers were proposed to alleviate the problems. However, they didn%26apos;t consider the mobility of the network. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical MP2P architecture which uses mobile peers clustering. The proposed method clusters the mobile peers by considering three aspects such as the maximum connection time, the minimum hop count and the number of the connected peers. The connection times between the connected peers can be determined by the location, velocity and communication range of each mobile peer. Since the maximum connection times of the connected peers are considered, the network topology is relatively stable. Therefore, the proposed architecture decreases the network management costs and improves the success rate of contents search. Experiments have shown that our proposed method outperforms the existing methods.
