摘要
An analysis of the optical impedance matching and the polarization matching has been made for the integration of a surface plasmon polariton (SPP) waveguide and a dielectric waveguide. A guided wave coupler was used for achieving the optical impedance matching and the polarization matching in the integration of these waveguides. The modal shapes of the SPP waveguides were analyzed to investigate the polarization dependency of the optical coupling in the guided wave couplers.
