Conditions are given for a non-oscillatory ordinary differential equation x '' + a(t)x = 0, t >= t(0) >= 1, to possess a solution x(t) with prescribed oblique asymptote that has an oscillatory pseudo-wronskian x'(t) - x(t)/t.
